The International Wine Challenge Russia 2005
The first International Wine Challenge Russia will be held prior to the Russian International Wine & Spirits Fair and will be judged by Russian sommeliers and experienced local and international tasters. Organised in association with Robert Joseph, founder of the International Wine Challenge held in London, the challenge is set to define and bring structure to a rapidly developing on-trade and off-trade market.

The Russian International Wine & Spirits Fair (RIWSF) reflects the new openness, ideals and ambitions of a rapidly developing and outward-looking nation. Since 1997 the economy has experienced a sustained period of growth, resulting in middle class Russians now holding increased disposable income and demanding greater diversity and choice from high street retailers.
